Commencing in 1979, the Ozarks Genealogical Library has offered a comprehensive collection of resources pertaining to the Ozarks region. While our emphasis is on Greene County and southwest Missouri, we also have a secondary emphasis on states from which most early Missourians migrated. Computers and wireless Internet access are available to our patrons.
Some of the more popular research resources at our library include:
: Several thousand volumes containing indexes, transcriptions and abstracts of census, court, land, tax, probate, newspapers and other vital records. County records from every Missouri county and some adjoining states. Over 160 OGS publications including funeral home records and every known cemetery in Greene County. Search our catalog.
Some books are at The Library Center on South Campbell.
